Keynote Speaker
A Spirituality of Stewardship
Stewardship is a whole way of life based upon conversion of heart. As stewards-disciples we are to receive God’s gifts gratefully, nurture those gifts responsibly, and share them joyfully. Stewardship is what I do after I say I believe.
Stewardship – Total Parish Makeover
Everyone knows that the Second Vatican Council changed Catholic life forever. This is most apparent in the liturgy but the changes run through the entire Catholic experience. Stewardship as envisioned by the American Catholic Bishops in their pastoral letter, Stewardship - A Disciples Response, teaches us how to live our faith to the fullest. Stewardship is spirituality not a program! It is spirituality that once embraced will dramatically enrich parish life. With Stewardship there are no bystanders; everyone is a witness to the faith that unites us. Everything is a gift from God.

Lorene Duquin
When Catholics Don’t Come to Mass
This workshop will explore how the post-modern culture affects families today, why Mass is not a priority, the need to bring families to a conversion experience, why our attitudes toward them make a difference, effective ways to reach them, and creative strategies for inviting them to come back to Mass.
Gifts Discernment
God has given everyone gifts. This presentation will help attendees understand that how we use our gifts gives meaning and purpose to life. In addition, Lorene will address the gift discernment process, ideas for parish discernment, accountability for gifts and reflect on how your parish is using the gifts of parishioners.

Better Bulletins, Newsletters and Print Communications
If you want people to get your message, you have to make it easy for them. Whether you produce a weekly bulletin, a 24 page monthly newsletter or write business letters and financial reports, this workshop will show you how to improve all of your documents and publications. This workshop will focus on the most important things that you can do in print to increase readership, promote a sense of unity and harmony on the page and focus your parishioners on what is really important.
The Evolution of a Parish Capital Campaign:Beginning to End
So you are thinking about conducting a parish capital campaign? Do you have a stewardship base on hand to help you achieve your campaign goals? Learn about the necessary action steps a parish needs to take to plan, prepare, and conduct a capital campaign.
Bringing Forth Both the New and the Old–Building Trust and Healing in our Communities
The sins of Catholic clergy and the heartbreak of closing Catholic parishes are two very public wounds within the Body of Christ. Yet, as a community of believers, we are called to be attentive to the real, personal suffering of these and other hurts in the Church. How do we assist our communities in finding the healing of Jesus Christ so that the whole Body may more fully rejoice in giving thanks for the blessings of God?

What Advanced Stewardship Parishes are Doing
How can stewardship be taken to the next level? What are creative ways to continue to foster stewardship? This session will highlight some ideas and practices from experienced parishes with successful stewardship efforts.
Stewardship for Children and Teens
The session will address the concept that you are never too young to practice good stewardship. Participants in this session will learn how to help children and teens grow in an understanding of Christian stewardship through family, faith formation, community and liturgical activities. The session will also address ways to include our youth in the parish stewardship renewal process.

Parish Planning for Evangelization
Change happens — we all know and experience that. Like every organization, parishes face the issue of how to manage change. How do we discern what God wants our parish to be? How do we get from where we are now to where we want to be? What strengths can we build on? What areas need improvement? What resources do we need to make it all happen? Planning aims to answer these questions and more.
Katie Slee
Stewardship and the Offertory
This workshop will cover practical ideas for maximizing the parish offering envelope program, as well as methods for using the program as a means of communication and a tool in parish stewardship education.
Ann Eden
Hospitality: From Abraham to Framingham
Through the generations of our faith, from Sarah’s laughter at the message of her guests to the Church of today, the presenter will explore the significance of providing a generous welcome.
Enhancing Parish Communication through Technology
Communication with your parishioners is key in expanding your stewardship and building long-lasting relationships through ministry. See how technology can easily transform the way your staff reaches out to the members of your committees, liturgy, religious education, and your congregation. Technology can assist you in correspondence for every day church happenings or even when you need instant notification.
Educating the Stewardship Committee
Introducing the stewardship way of life to a parish community begins with education. No "perfect" plan exists. Through a series of meetings, the Stewardship and Development Office begins a discussion with the pastor and Stewardship Committee about stewardship and its benefit for the parish. This session will focus on the agenda from each of those meetings and will guide you through some of the resources that are available to a parish as they embark on their journey. Ensure that the implementation and renewal of stewardship are woven into the fabric of parish life.
